Dawaun Demetrius Lewis-Taylor, a 15-year-old Black male from Columbus, Ohio, tragically lost his life on September 29, 2020. He was found suffering from a gunshot wound in the 4800 block of Heatherton Drive, just feet from an elementary school playground. Despite immediate medical attention, Dawaun succumbed to his injuries at Grant Medical Center later that day.
