A woman is shot dead
Jewel Rogers, a 30-year-old resident of Columbus, Ohio, was tragically killed on December 3, 2016. Around 6:26 p.m., Columbus Police received a call reporting a shooting near the intersection of East Fulton Street and Fairwood Avenue. Responding officers found Rogers inside a residence at 1740 East Fulton Street. She had been shot and was critically injured.
