Christina Shere Perry, a 35-year-old woman from Columbus, OH, tragically lost her life on October 25, 2020, due to a road rage shooting. She was driving her 13-year-old son, Shamille, to his father's house after a basketball game when Ricky Williams Jr., a 24-year-old man from Columbus' South Side, shot into her car. Williams claimed he "lost control" and shot Perry because she wasn't driving fast enough for his liking. This incident occurred on Studer Avenue on the city's South Side.
