Shanteria Mosley, a 26-year-old Black woman from the Atlanta area, was known to friends and family as “KT” or “Tia.” She worked as a DoorDash delivery driver, but on the morning of September 23, 2026, she left home and never returned. When her family was unable to reach her, they grew concerned and used her phone’s location data to track it to the Park Valley Apartments complex in Smyrna, Georgia.
The family found Shanteria’s car at the complex and called the police.
After a brief initial search by an officer, her relatives decided to continue looking on their own. During their search, they noticed a man watching them from an apartment window. They spoke to him, but he claimed he had not seen anyone near Shanteria’s vehicle. The family persisted, remaining in the area as their search grew more desperate.
Later that evening, around 8:15 p.m., a witness saw the same man, identified as 18-year-old Kingston Bradley, carrying a plastic tub through an open area of the complex. When Bradley realized he had been seen, he dropped the container and fled into his nearby apartment. Inside the tub, authorities made a gruesome discovery: the dismembered torso of a woman. Shanteria’s family was able to recognize a tattoo on the remains, and her identity was later formally confirmed.
A search of Bradley’s apartment uncovered multiple bloodstains, a large saw covered in blood, a mop bucket, and a carpet cleaner. The home had a strong smell of bleach. Two days later, investigators executing a search warrant on a vehicle in Cobb County found more of Shanteria’s remains inside garbage bags in the trunk. An autopsy later determined that she had suffered a gunshot wound to the head. Police believe she was killed sometime between 10 a.m. and noon on the day she disappeared.
Kingston Bradley was arrested and charged with malice murder and concealing the death of another. According to police, the motive and the connection between Bradley and Shanteria Mosley remain unclear. As of September 2026, the case was proceeding through the court system.
