In the quiet suburban neighborhood of Smyrna, Georgia, a tragedy shattered the evening of July 7, 2026. Shital Wrzesien, a 57-year-old woman of Indian-American descent, was found shot to death inside her home on Laurel Creek Trail. The incident, which unfolded around 8 p.m., also left her 23-year-old son, Jason Wrzesien, with a gunshot wound.
