The remains of a 21 year old man are found in trash bags in a North Dakota River On August 20, 1978, the dismembered body of William “Billy” Wolf Jr., a 21-year-old man from Fargo, North Dakota, was discovered by a canoeist in the Red River. His remains were found stuffed in plastic garbage bags, adding a gruesome detail to an already tragic case. Billy had been missing for a week, last seen on August 13.
