In the early morning hours of June 7, 2019, Jason Jay Allen Halvorson, a 38-year-old White man, was fatally shot in downtown Fargo, North Dakota. The incident occurred outside his "Texas Q Barbeque" food trailer. Officers responded to reports of gunshots and discovered Halvorson with multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to Sanford Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
