On March 24, 2008, Andrew Babyak, along with three others, was found dead in an apartment at Tree Top Apartments on High Meadow Lane in Charlotte, North Carolina. Police arrived at the scene early in the morning after being called to check on the welfare of the apartment's residents. Inside, they discovered the bodies of Babyak, Cherilyn Crawford, William Royster, and Timothy Stone, all victims of a violent shooting.
