On March 24, 2008, William Beaumonde Royster, aged 46, was one of four victims found shot to death in an apartment located at 720 High Meadow Lane, Tree Top Apartments in Charlotte, North Carolina. The incident occurred early in the morning after police responded to a call to check on the welfare of individuals in the apartment. Along with Royster, the other victims were identified as Cherilyn Crawford, Andrew Babyak, and Timothy Stone. Royster resided in the apartment where the crime took place ...
