Samuel Harrison Stitt, a 23-year-old African American male, was found shot to death in a north Charlotte apartment on August 8, 2019. The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department responded to the scene at the 1400 block of Ventura Way shortly before 9 p.m. and discovered Stitt with gunshot wounds.
