In the early morning hours of Sunday, August 23, 2026, the life of 39-year-old Lanier Harmon was tragically cut short in a fatal shooting in Essex, Maryland. Baltimore County police officers responded to a call for a shooting at approximately 1:55 a.m. in the 800 block of Woodrow Avenue. Upon arrival, they discovered Harmon inside her car, suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite any efforts to render aid, she was pronounced dead at the scene.
