Alpha Elizabeth Smith, aged 62, tragically lost her life on March 28, 2021, in Essex, Maryland. She was one of the victims in a series of shootings that occurred on that fateful day. The incident took place at a Royal Farms store on Middleborough Road, where Alpha, affectionately known as "Alfie," had stopped to pick up a drink on her way to work.
