On a Tuesday afternoon in Norfolk, Virginia, on June 16, 2026, the life of 38-year-old Alfred C. McKenzie was tragically cut short. At approximately 2:30 p.m., police responded to reports of a man suffering from gunshot wounds in the 4600 block of South Cape Henry Avenue, near Azalea Garden Road. Upon their arrival, officers discovered McKenzie with life-threatening injuries. Emergency services transported him to a local hospital, but sadly, he succumbed to his wounds and was pronounced dead. ...
