In the small community of Pattison, Mississippi, a burst of gunfire on the afternoon of June 18, 2026, shattered the late-day calm and ended the life of 17-year-old Dawaynemonion Hedrick. Deputies from the Claiborne County Sheriff's Office were dispatched around 5:48 p.m. to the intersection of Hinds Street and Tillman Road, near the Bikini Lounge, following reports of a shooting.
