On August 27, 2025, William “Billy” Earl Morris, 36, a male from Brandon, Mississippi, was found shot multiple times inside his home on Highway 80 between Brandon and Pelahatchie after a 911 call came in at 8:53 a.m.
Deputies reported evidence of a forced entry, the front door kicked in, and confirmed that William “Billy” Earl Morris, 36, had died at the scene.
