On the evening of June 20, 2026, a wave of violence shattered the weekend peace in Montgomery, Alabama, leaving two young men dead and two other individuals wounded in a quadruple shooting. Among the deceased was 20-year-old De'marion Calhoun. The initial response from law enforcement began around 6:30 p.m. when Montgomery police were dispatched to the 1300 block of Eastern Boulevard following reports of gunfire.
