Geovonnie S. Amie, an 18-year-old man, was fatally shot on the morning of June 24, 2026, during a drive through the Mount Pleasant and Racine area of Wisconsin. Shortly before noon, gunfire struck Amie while he was behind the wheel of a Hyundai Elantra near the 2200 block of Racine Street in the Village of Mount Pleasant. Despite suffering a gunshot wound to his torso, he remained conscious long enough to continue driving north toward Racine.
