On a rural road in the town of Blue Mounds, Wisconsin, the body of 26-year-old Nicholas Day, a White male, was discovered by a passerby on the afternoon of January 15, 2020. Initially, investigators believed he was the victim of a fatal hit-and-run, struck by a vehicle while out for a jog.
