Nasir Majied, a 22-year-old male Towson University student, was driving north on York Road in Towson, Maryland, on Friday afternoon, June 5, 2026, when an ordinary trip through the busy downtown area turned deadly. Around 3:20 p.m., just before the Towson traffic circle, police received reports of gunfire involving two vehicles traveling northbound. Officers from the Towson precinct reached the scene within about two minutes and found Majied suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
