Angelica Caraballo, 26, was named a person of interest, and police sought the public's help in locating her for questioning, emphasizing that she was not a suspect at that time. A few days later, on May 6, 2026, authorities identified 44-year-old Quinten Terrel Hutty, also known as Quinten T. Hutty-Afternoons, as the suspect in Collier's murder and issued a warrant for his arrest. Police warned that Hutty should be considered armed and dangerous. As of late May 2026, both Quinten Terrel Hutty and Angelica Caraballo were still being sought by law enforcement, and the investigation into the death of Nidair Jordon Collier remains active.
