In the pre-dawn hours of May 11, 2026, the quiet of a Columbus, Ohio, gas station was shattered by a single act of violence that claimed the life of 48-year-old Maceo Burton. A Black male, Burton was seated in his vehicle at the Eagle Fuels gas station on East Livingston Avenue when he was fatally shot. The incident occurred around 4:55 a.m., and when police arrived, they found Burton with a gunshot wound. He was rushed to Grant Medical Center in critical condition but succumbed to his injuries ...
