Ada Catherine Chapman Doss, a 27-year-old nurse, wife, and mother, was tragically killed on the evening of May 12, 2026, as she was leaving her shift at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. While walking to her vehicle in the hospital's south parking lot, she was approached by a man armed with a handgun who attempted to rob her.
