On the afternoon of May 13, 2026, in Kansas City, Kansas, 18-year-old Luis Yomar Tejada Ceballos was tragically killed in a double homicide. The incident occurred around 3:30 p.m. in the 1700 block of South 16th Street. Responding to a report of a shooting, police officers discovered both Tejada Ceballos and another teenager, 17-year-old Briguel Perez of Kansas City, Kansas, suffering from gunshot wounds.
