On the evening of May 19, 2026, a burst of gunfire shattered the peace at the Rosemont of Lancaster Apartments in Lancaster, Texas, leaving a young man dead and a community in shock. Responding to calls of a shooting at approximately 8:28 p.m., Lancaster police discovered a grim scene in the parking lot of the complex located on North Houston School Road.
