Jamall Sherman, a 22-year-old male who was Black/African American, was shot on the afternoon of September 2, 2025, in Lancaster, Texas. Neighbors reported gunfire outside a residence in the 2300 block of Rogers Avenue, just around the corner from Verona Park. Responding officers arrived at approximately 2:12 p.m., and Lancaster EMS rushed Jamall Sherman to Methodist Central Hospital, where the 22-year-old male was later pronounced dead.
