On June 30, 1983, 15-year-old Robert Gutkaiss, known as "Bobby," disappeared in Stephentown, New York, after leaving his job as a berry picker at a local farm. He was last seen walking along Route 22, heading towards his home. His family reported him missing when he failed to return home that evening. Tragically, on July 8, 1983, Bobby's body was discovered near a logging road, roughly seven miles from his home. His death was ruled a homicide, though the specific cause was never determined.
