In the early morning hours of March 28, 2026, a dispute in Muskogee, Oklahoma, escalated to a fatal conclusion, leaving 38-year-old Elio Hernandez dead from a gunshot wound. The incident unfolded near East Side Boulevard and Gibson Street, where police responded to reports of shots fired around 4 a.m. Upon their arrival, officers discovered Hernandez in the front yard of a residence. He was pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel.
