Authorities said Parkmon’s alleged gunfire created a substantial risk of physical injury to residents in the area. As a result, the charges against him expanded beyond murder. In addition to the murder charge connected to Ballard’s death, Parkmon was reported to be facing two counts of reckless endangerment, one count of shooting into an occupied vehicle, and a charge related to shooting into an unoccupied building.
