On the evening of December 15, 2025, Jimvonte Leonard Critten, a 29-year-old Black male from Enterprise, Alabama, was fatally shot following a domestic dispute. Officers from the Enterprise Police Department were dispatched to a residence in the 400 block of West Watts Street around 7:27 p.m. Upon their arrival, law enforcement discovered Critten inside the home suffering from a gunshot wound.
Despite the response, he was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Investigators initially identified Jumirrus Malik Flowers as a primary suspect in the shooting. Following the incident, police issued a public alert describing Flowers as armed and dangerous, urging him to surrender. He was wanted on a charge of murder. Subsequent reports indicated that Flowers eventually turned himself in to authorities, ending the initial manhunt associated with the case.
As the homicide investigation continued, detectives uncovered evidence implicating a second individual. On December 18, 2025, the Enterprise Police Department arrested 42-year-old Michael Sinclaire Andrews of Enterprise. Andrews was charged with murder in connection with Critten's death and was subsequently transported to the Coffee County Jail. Police officials stated that the investigation remained active but did not immediately release further details regarding the specific roles of the suspects or the motive behind the fatal altercation.
