In Enterprise, Alabama, a fatal encounter in the spring of 2020 cut short the life of 47-year-old Lawrence Davis Jr.. On April 24th, inside a room at the O'Connell Lodge, a robbery escalated to a tragic conclusion, leaving Davis dead from a gunshot wound. The motive behind the violent act was the theft of his Ford Mustang and five pairs of sneakers.
