On a Sunday morning in the quiet outskirts of Wister, Oklahoma, what began as a routine welfare check on April 19, 2026, quickly spiraled into a tragic and violent confrontation. LeFlore County Deputy Sheriff Thomas "Walker" LeMay, a 30-year-old male, was among the officers dispatched to a residence along U.S. Highway 270.
