Shawn Chudej, a 34-year-old man from Gholson, Texas, tragically died on May 8, 2016, in Waco, Texas. He was involved in a family dispute with his father-in-law, Charles Mitchell, which escalated into a violent confrontation. The argument was reportedly about land, and during the dispute, Mitchell shot Chudej three times in the back with a 12-gauge shotgun at close range.
