Patrick James Dennehy, a 21-year-old American college basketball player for Baylor University, was born on January 28, 1982, in Santa Clara, California. He transferred to Baylor from the University of New Mexico after his sophomore season in 2001-2002. Dennehy was preparing to play for the Baylor Bears men's basketball team in the upcoming 2003-2004 season. On June 12, 2003, Dennehy was shot by his teammate Carlton Dotson at a firing range in Waco, Texas.
