On the evening of April 21, 2026, the quiet of a Tucson, Arizona neighborhood was shattered by a tragic event that claimed the life of 64-year-old Jeanette June Hatfield. Pima County Sheriff's deputies were called to a residence in the 10000 block of North Camino de Oeste shortly before 6 p.m. for a report of a problem. Upon their arrival, they were confronted with a grim scene unfolding in the driveway.
As deputies reached the home, they witnessed 72-year-old Guy Hatfield take his own
life with a firearm. Nearby, they found his wife, Jeanette Hatfield, suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite the immediate attempts at life-saving measures by the deputies, both Jeanette and Guy Hatfield were pronounced dead at the scene.
