Torrance Lemar “Bear” McMurren, a 36-year-old Black male from Saginaw, Michigan, died after a late-night shooting on Sunday, April 26, 2026. The shooting happened around 10:50 p.m. in the 2400 block of North Bond Street on Saginaw’s west side, where officers arrived and found McMurren suffering from gunshot wounds. He was still alive when first responders reached him, and he was taken by ambulance to a local hospital, but he later died from his injuries.
