In the quiet community of Sidonia, near Sharon, Tennessee, a domestic dispute escalated into a tragic and fatal encounter. On the morning of October 23, 2022, 42-year-old Samantha Hodges was attempting to leave her residence on Adams Road. As she sat in her vehicle, her husband, 46-year-old Charles Hodges, approached and fired a muzzle-loading rifle through the driver's side window, striking and killing her.
