Known for his wonderful sense of humor and his ability to make everyone laugh, he was a beacon of positivity to those who knew him. A talented tattoo artist, he owned and operated his own shop, 1111 Body Art Studio, and was a respected artist in Saginaw. He was a proud graduate of Arthur Hill High School and a devoted father to his four children. His passions included basketball, especially cheering for Michigan State University, swimming, and fishing. He was remembered for his love of music and his constant singing, spreading joy wherever he went.
The investigation into his untimely death quickly focused on a suspect. Michigan State Police identified 32-year-old Zachary Laurence Rodriguez as the man wanted in connection with the fatal shooting.
