Cheryl Schille Wyant, a 14-year-old girl, was last seen on May 30, 1978, in San Bernardino County, California. Cheryl, who was also known by the nickname "Cherie," had previously run away from a group home in Corbett, Oregon, shortly after her fourteenth birthday. Following this, she was sighted in San Bernardino County, where she was placed in a children's home or crisis center.
