On July 8, 2021, the community of Saginaw, Michigan, was shaken by the violent death of 23-year-old Black male Danquarious Ja'Tuan Murrell. Known affectionately to his friends and family as "Dank," Murrell was a young father and a beloved figure in his circle, remembered for his vibrant personality and deep dedication to his relatives.
