On October 20, 2024, a tragic incident occurred in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, resulting in the death of Dexter Lakoye Cormier Jr., a 35-year-old man. The incident took place in the early morning hours, around 3:45 am, in a parking lot located at 9702 Greenwell Springs Rd.
During the incident, a shooting occurred, and Dexter Cormier was among six people who were shot. He was subsequently transported to the hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
