In the summer of 2021, a quiet street in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, became the scene of a tragedy that cut a man's life short. On the morning of July 5th, Lesage Butler III, a 30-year-old African American male, was found deceased at an apartment complex located at 1809 N. Harco Drive. Authorities were alerted to the grim discovery at approximately 10:54 a.m. Upon arrival, they found Butler suffering from what were described as apparent gunshot wounds.
