Anthony “Tony” Smith, a 50-year-old man, died suddenly on Saturday, July 4, 2009, at Saratoga Hospital, a loss that rippled outward from his home base in the Ballston Spa–Saratoga Springs area and into the many circles that knew him as a husband, father, sibling, coach, colleague, and friend.
