In the spring of 2026, a wave of violence shattered the peace of a North Tulsa neighborhood, leaving tragedy in its wake. On March 31st, 75-year-old Moesly Livingston, a ride-share driver, was tragically killed while working. In the backseat of the car sat 29-year-old Carlissa Harris, who also lost her life in the violent encounter.
The events of that day unfolded as part of a chaotic and brutal crime spree.
Authorities later identified the suspect as 34-year-old Marsean Taylor, who was reportedly in a relationship with Harris. For reasons that may never be fully understood, Taylor opened fire in Livingston's vehicle, ending two lives. The violence did not stop there. Following the shootings, Taylor embarked on a desperate and destructive path. He attempted to force his way into several nearby apartments, spreading fear and panic throughout the community.
During this rampage, Taylor broke into one apartment and viciously stabbed a man. The injured resident attempted to flee, but Taylor pursued him and stabbed him again. His violent spree continued as he then made his way to a local gas station. There, he attempted to steal beer and, when confronted, threatened the employees with two knives. The terrifying standoff ended when a Tulsa police officer, after less-lethal methods failed, shot and killed Taylor. The officer involved in the shooting was subsequently placed on administrative duties pending an investigation.
