On the morning of April 6, 2026, Norman Patrick Robinson, a 63-year-old White male, was shot and killed in his Oklahoma City apartment. The incident occurred at an apartment complex located at 3535 N. St. Charles St., where a dispute with a neighbor escalated into fatal violence.
Known to his friends as "Stormin Norman," Robinson was born on November 6, 1962, in Los Angeles, California.
He was described as a man with a deep curiosity about the world, who enjoyed reading, science, math, and mechanics. He had a passion for learning new things and was always willing to lend a hand, especially when something needed fixing. Those who knew him remembered his strong personality and sometimes outrageous views that always left an impression. He also enjoyed being in nature, camping, and spending time with his dog.
On that Monday morning, police responded to a shooting call at the apartment complex. Upon arrival, they found Norman Robinson deceased from a gunshot wound. Investigators quickly learned that Robinson had been involved in an altercation with a neighbor, identified as Aaron Hall Jr., a 38-year-old Black male. The argument escalated, leading to Hall allegedly shooting and killing Robinson.
Detectives located Aaron Hall Jr. shortly after the incident. He was taken into custody, interviewed, and subsequently booked into jail on a complaint of murder in the second degree. The investigation is ongoing, and authorities have asked anyone with additional information to contact the Homicide Tip-Line. Norman Robinson is survived by his four daughters, a sister, a niece and nephew, and many grandchildren. His wish was to be cremated and have his ashes spread with his mother's.
