In the late hours of a Wednesday in Oklahoma City, the life of Stanley Lovett, a 26-year-old Black male, was tragically cut short. On September 5, 2018, police were called to the scene of a car crash near Northwest 10th Street and Rockwell Avenue. Inside the vehicle, they discovered Lovett, not suffering from injuries sustained in the crash, but from a gunshot wound.
