On September 15, 2012, Javier Collazo, 34, was shot while driving his SUV in southwest Oklahoma City. After being struck by multiple bullets, his vehicle crashed into a telephone pole near S.W. 15th Street and Penn. When police responded to what initially seemed like a crash, they discovered that Collazo had been shot. He was rushed to the hospital but later died from his injuries.
