In the early morning hours of June 8, 2018, the life of 63-year-old Olen Gray, a Black/African American male, was tragically cut short in his Oklahoma City home. The incident, which marked the city's 36th homicide of the year, took place around 1 a.m. in the 1700 block of Meyers Place, near Northeast 50th and Martin Luther King Boulevard.
Officers were dispatched to the residence where they discovered Mr. Gray had been shot.
