In the early morning hours of April 8, 2026, the life of Qualeisha Barnes, a 36-year-old African American woman, was tragically cut short in Atlanta, Georgia. Police responded to a call around 1:23 a.m. and discovered Barnes unresponsive inside her white Range Rover Sport on Springside Place SE. She had sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.
