In the winter of 2004, a 15-year-old girl named Adrianna Hope Garcia vanished from the area between Sapulpa and Tulsa, Oklahoma. On December 29th, Adrianna, a high school student, planned to spend the night at a friend's house. Earlier that day, she had spent quality time with her older sister, who was preparing to move to Oklahoma City. They had lunch, went shopping, and took family photos at their grandmother's house. Later, after her mother was unable to give her a ride, Adrianna set out on foot for the several-mile walk to her friend's home. She was carrying a backpack with clothing and makeup for the sleepover. Adrianna never arrived at her destination, and her family grew concerned when she didn't return the next morning. They soon discovered she had never made it to the sleepover and reported her missing. At the time of her disappearance, Adrianna was described as a Hispanic female, 5'2" tall and weighing 120 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair that had copper-colored streaks. She had several distinct features, including a scar between her eyebrows and a quarter-sized brown birthmark on the right side of her waist. Her ears were pierced multiple times, and she also had her nose and navel pierced. She was last seen wearing a long-sleeved blue striped t-shirt, white Old Navy brand overalls, and a yellow jacket. Known affectionately as "Dreena," Adrianna was described by her family as a popular and happy girl who was very close to her six siblings. She had a passion for singing, with Selena being her idol. Despite her family's insistence that she would not have run away, the Creek County Sheriff's Office initially classified her case as a runaway. Her loved ones have always disputed this, citing her strong family ties and happy home life as reasons she would not voluntarily disappear. Over the years, there has been no sign of Adrianna. The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children has released age-progressed photos to show what she might look like as the years have passed. Her family continues to hold out hope and actively searches for answers, using social media to keep her story alive. They commemorate her birthday each year, a painful reminder of the bright and talented young woman who vanished without a trace. The investigation into Adrianna Garcia's disappearance is now considered a cold case, leaving her family with unanswered questions about what happened on that winter day.
