A festive gathering of around 200 people at the AWPPW Hall in Longview, Washington, took a tragic turn on the night of April 11, 2026, ending in the shooting deaths of two men in the parking lot. One of the victims was 21-year-old Cristian Segundo Garcia. The other man who lost his life was identified as Sergio Adrian Segundo, who was 30 years old.
The violence erupted late in the evening during a quinceañera celebration.
According to law enforcement, the suspect, Andres Carrasco-Sanchez, a 49-year-old from the neighboring city of Kelso, became agitated because he believed one of the victims, or a friend of theirs, had been flirting with his girlfriend. This perception allegedly led him to leave the event, retrieve a firearm, and return to confront the men.
As Longview Police Department officers responded to reports of the shooting at approximately 10:45 p.m., they spotted a vehicle leaving the scene that matched the description of the suspect's car. A pursuit was initiated, which wound through West Longview before circling back through the city. The chase concluded with the arrest of Carrasco-Sanchez.
Following his apprehension, Andres Carrasco-Sanchez was booked into the Cowlitz County Jail on two counts of first-degree murder. The investigation into the double homicide involved multiple law enforcement agencies, including the Cowlitz County Sheriff's Office and the Kelso Police Department, who assisted the Longview Police Department in securing the scene and investigating the events that led to the fatal shootings.
